Today I am feeling weird.
I do not know why.
I think I do.
Because tomorrow is Term Exam for my school, and I am definitely super-pumped. If you have read my other post, the one about G reading the Red Pyramid book, she's still working on it, and if you know what I mean, not working on it at all. For it has gone 'missing' and since Mommy and Daddy finally arrived from their Cruise thing, she's been excited about TE and the book has gone forever. :(
Anyways, for a special occasion for the TE, we've been given two extra days weekend. Great, right?
Well, think again.
We're supposed to spend the two extra days STUDYING. Which just ruins the whole concept.
Plus, I was actually TRYING to forget this whole TE thing until... tutor arrived, and then what the principal of my school's expectation was, actually became a nightmare in my life. Sad, right? :D
At least I have teeny spare times wedged in between studying hours. Tomorrow is my Social Studies and Reading TE. Wish me luck!

Another Day, Another Breakfast
Oh, and todays blog post is not based on Manila, the place where I am now, but in Hawaii! My mind is stuck to that Hawaii air, and the place itself.
Every morning this year, we had lots of fun, because we sometimes woke up early and sometimes late, and even when we wake up early or late, we whip up a delicious breakfast, which all the people in the apartment eat.
Every morning this year, we had lots of fun, because we sometimes woke up early and sometimes late, and even when we wake up early or late, we whip up a delicious breakfast, which all the people in the apartment eat.
G, Daddy, and Lolo cooking up a storm!
We have lots of fun whipping up breakfasts every day. I'm at the electric stove, sizzling a scrambled egg on a non-stick pan with a spatula in hand, and Daddy and G are making a tin-foil sort of platter thing, putting Tostitos chips on it, and a lot of cheese on it, and toasting it and making nachos, while Lolo is chopping up the tomatoes and shredding cheese to pulp to put it on the egg to make an omelette.
The kitchen was a severe mess
One of the main reasons Lola and Lolo go to Hawaii, and carry my family and my cousin's family along is that my cousin Sam, her brother, Rafu, studies in Hawaii. And of course, he has his own house.
Plus, he has a big mango tree in his yard, and he picks them when they are perfectly ripe, and they are sweet as sweet can be. They were ready for harvest that time, and of course he had to bring them along when he visited our apartment.
Tasted good, I bet.
Though I didn't taste them, I heard some of the things Lolo, Lola, and Mommy said about it. Complete delicacies they were!!
And since they were said to be delicacies, I regret not eating one. Like the Cocoa Puffs, which I will post about next time, possibly in months or so. See ya!

Hawaii Zoo with Mika
I forgot to tell you about the Zoo visit with Mika, so I'll do it now.
When we were there, we went into this plastic log, and in the middle is an opening, and there is a giant fish tank around you. Then there are fishes, and the big, fat ones sometimes put their heads out and tails and fins. That is rare, and when we were there, we were on our posts, looking out for fishes above water.
We finally got bored of this routine, so then we went into the Guinea Pig display, and we saw two guinea pigs, and they were adorable! But then we stayed in one of the boxes, and then it was the attack of boys.
The boys left, and we were so relieved. Then two girls, and one of the girls' brother, came in. The girls were named Carly and Shanelei (pronounced Sha-ne-lei), and the boy was named Shane. We had such a fun time, and then before we met them, we played in the Keiki Zoo, where there is a playground and some Dippin' Dots, which closed early. Boo!
Our fun time ended when we had to go back to the apartment. Fun! :)

Top 3 things to do in Hawaii
Hey, these are my three favorite things to do in Hawaii. Take a look!
1. Wet'n Wild Waterpark
In Wet'n Wild, there are tons of different rides to ride. My favorite is the Tornado, but it is really called something else. It should be called the Tornado because it is like a Tornado. In the Tornado, there is this lucky person called the Drop. First you have to lug your giant floatie up to the high slide, then you put your floatie on the water, sit in one of the holes and let your friends/family sit in the others, and then it turns around while you are about to fall. It turns, and the person who's back is facing the hole is the Drop! You might hate it, you might love it. I love being the Drop. The Drop is called the drop because The Drop slides around in a tiny tunnel with the rest of you, then suddenly, there is a gigantic DROP! Then the drop is the one who nearly falls backward, and the drop goes up the wall! Literally. And then you swoosh around violently, then you go through this big waterfall thing and get soaked, then you go out and do it again! And there is the Island Racer, and the Shaka. I didn't ride the shaka, cause I thought it was scary. I love the Island racer, and there are tons and tons of other rides!
2. Discovery Center
In Discovery Center, they display all around the world. Japan, China, Korea, England, America, many! Then your child can play cook in the Japan or China display, cause there are yarn noodles you can cook and small fluffy cakes, and this giant chocolate cake. My favorite is the underwater display. In there, you can dress up as seahorses and stuff and get recorded! But that's not what I like. I like the bubble thing. There's this bubble mix, then you dip the thing in the mix using the rope, then pull it up, then there should be a bubble there. If there isn't, dip it and pull it again. If there is a bubble, blow it gently, then get it stronger. Then if it is flowing out, do it strong, then it shall either pop, flow out and still connect, OR the best one, disconnect and flow out and make a huge bubble! I like this bubble mix thing because I am really, really good at it. I am the MASTER!!!
3. Magic Island
You might think Magic Island is like a play place. No, it's not, because in Magic Island, there is a big patch of soft, green grass that you can lay your banig on and picnic. I did that with Mommy and Daddy. But we didn't go in the big patch, we went under a tree nearby the beach, which is farther from the patch of grass. Then it started drizzling, and the tree helped. But it was just a passing cloud, so I ate the store-bought tempura we bought at this shop, and G ate her Salmon Sushi. While Mommy was taking pictures of us, she glanced at her arm and saw a rare white ladybug, and the spots were shaped like hearts! She took a lot of pictures, and then G and I went out to have a swim in the beach. We built sandcastles and swam in the beach a lot, then it was time to leave.
I hope you'll go to Honolulu, Hawaii and visit all these extraordinary FUN places!!!

Missing Cooper, Links, and Friends!
I just checked out my Mommy's blog, my cousin's blog, and G's blog. They are all very nice. No Doors, my mommy's blog, is very interior design-ish. And G's blog, Gthewhiz, has stories, and my cousin's blog, Prettysplendid, has a lot of followers. And they are all very nice.
And I am missing Mochi. And please go to this blog, Chuvaness, and read the post about Cooper. Chuvaness' friends' cute Yorkshire Terrier, Cooper, slipped out of their gate on June 4, 2011, and he was last seen in Dasmarinas Village, in Manila, in Makati City.
And I felt sad, because I know how it feels. Mochi got lost without her collar on and she wandered around. We went into the car and drove around but Moch was not in sight. But then... This very kindred man who was guarding a yard found her, and brought her to the Dasmarinas Barangay. And so we found her!!!
My other friend, Mika, who used to play with M and A went to San Francisco and is here in Hawaii with us! But not WITH us. You get the point. Bye!

Back in Hawaii!
Oh, this is great!
xx Coolio
You must think I'm in Manila playing with M and A or something... But I'm in Hawaii, and M and A, maybe they're playing with Carolina or something. I just hope they'll play with us and they're having fun. And when I'm in Manila, I'm in the mood for Disney Channel and Nickelodeon on TV. But here in Hawaii, I'm comfortable with any Junior show, like Diego and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and I also like watching Nick. G is using the laptop of Lola. Lola slept over at my tita and tito's apartment. My cousin already climbed up Koko Head and Diamond Head and she has a blog called Pretty Splendid, and I read it and thought it was pretty impressive. We bought a new book for G, book 2 of the Kane Series by Rick Riordan, because she finished the first.
G isn't done with it yet
It's a very thick book, and I am not enthusiastic on reading the Kane Series and if you want to know, I find Harry Potter book 4 sort of uninteresting. But I think Percy Jackson is awesome!!! We are going to the Wet'n Wild waterpark someday, hopefully today. I woke up at 8, and that's pretty early for a person who regularly wakes up at either 9, 10, 11, 12, or even 1! In Hawaii I wake up so early. It's super weird. Okay, I guess I'll contact you later.

Excitement Late at Night
Well, it's nice to speak to you again, since I have been very busy. I actually squeezed this time into the schedule. And so you would know, I am in Mommy's room, wearing my nightgown, and ready for bed. But except I am in Mommy and Daddy's bed, and I don't want to sleep yet. In the past few days, Mommy and Daddy went to China, and I couldn't sleep. Before, Mommy had to stay beside me in my bed in order for me to start snoring, (In which I don't really) but now I am just comforted by the thought that they are just a few steps away, ready to protect me if some hobo comes and tries to do something bad. Mommy's sort of sleeping already, and I doubt she will sleep beside me tonight. And the most exciting part is- Hawaii Trip is on Tuesday! I can hardly wait, and I am probably going to die waiting. There are many exciting things happening. Like my eye patch, for instance. I have to "do something" with my lazy eye, and I need to exercise it by putting this eye patch on the non-lazy eye and wait for the lazy one to cure. Great, isn't it? And Mochi is cuter than ever! Her mustache was cleaner this morning. Only the middle was reddish, and the surroundings were pure white! It was adorable!
And I think I know why I've been waking up at 12:00, 11:00, 10:00, or 9:00, no earlier, no later. I've been sleeping very late. Hey, it's summer! Time for the kids to chill and grown-ups to have a break as well. I think I should end this... I'm anxious for the trip... It's only two days away! Got to go, see ya, bye! (Or as Trina from Victorious would say-aka Daniella Monet-Boo by!)

Too Many Updates
Hello yet again!
The Hawaii trip is coming closer again-- on May 31! I'm so excited, I could EXPLODE! I haven't been to Hawaii since last year, you know! And this is AWESOME!
If only it was now... That would be epic! Such a change of plans, everybody in this house would be dillydallying like nuts! Anyways, M is here. A is still resting. She'll be coming soon, I hope. Today we are either baking Blondies or Sugar Cookies. Both sound delish, but obviously G doesn't think so. She works at the store called Orange Juice. Have you heard of it? Its a summer job, though its only for three days. The third day is tomorrow.
Mochi is nuts. She can now squish her bones through a crack in the garden, and "WOOP!" She is outside and running away! Good thing she has a collar with a tag with her name on it, and mommy's phone number on it. G's birthday was in April. My gift to her was a strawberry cake that everybody ADORED. We ate slices of it, and in days, it was all gone.
I'd better go now. M and G I bet are waiting for me down there. See ya soon, peeps! Make sure you check out daily, and I think I updated you a bit too much... I'll save the rest for next time!
Bye!

Guitar, Baking, and Recently...
Hi, this is Coolio again. Sorry about the long distanced posts because I was pretty busy. My friends from New York, A and M, came over some of the days, and last weekend, my family went to Batangas with my tita, my tito, and their 3 sons. Finally, someone to play with. But now, we are here at home and I am sitting on mommy's bed and the aircon is on. I downloaded a ton of new fonts, and I decided I would use them all because they are good for my stories. You know what? I got a new lesson! Its the lesson I've been yearning to get and here it is: Guitar Lessons with Teacher Nicole. It is very nice. I've already learned 'Twinkle, Twinkle' and now I'm learning 'Lightly Row'. It is just awesome, I tell you! But you have to buy your own footstool, though you can borrow T. Nicole's. And you also need that stand thingy, where your music book rests so you can gaze at it. A and M came over yesterday and last Friday to bake cookies. On Friday, we made Vanilla Hearts. They were SO thick and hearty, and we sold two of them to one of the drivers and one of the maids in our neighbor's house, and we earned 20 pesos for it! We're baking cookies for our club's funds. Just for the greatness of it!
Then yesterday, we created super super SUPER sweet cookies, and nobody will want to buy them except A and M's nona, who I bet has a big sweet tooth, in which I am grateful for. They were called Zingy Peppermints, but we didn't have any peppermint essence, so we used vanilla. Then, our first batch was so dry and crumbly, then we added another egg white. Then my yaya added a lot more sugar to go with the egg white, and we flattened and marked them with the forks and left them in the fridge. You don't even need to bake them, just pop them in the fridge for an hour. Oh, I have to go. I have Creative Writing, so a buh-bye!

I'm finally back!
Hi! I'm finally back to talk to you, finally! If you read my story about the Robot Army, the last paragraph, the one with Mary turning into ashes, G just added that to the end, which I let her do, but I forgot to erase it before Mommy posted it on my blog.
If you know some of the other people in my family, you should ask them what happened so far with my father's branch of the family. Some of the information should be kept secret, some shouldn't. But anyways, one tiny piece of sorrowful news from that branch is: Lolo died. And you wouldn't think I would be joking, would you? Seriously, who would want to spread such bad news about his or her family unless it was real. I cried during his first funeral and mass, and I sort of got tired of the funerals because we had so many.
My cousin, who is older than me and is a boy, got a new puppy. It is so cute, and the name is Tiger. It is a mini pomeranian. It's not really much of a tiger, though it's name is tiger, which just makes it silly. But it needs a little shave, just to peel off some of his fur because, well, he's seriously a real furball, and I'm not calling anybody names, but he has so much fur. We had a fancy dinner at my house and he brought Tiger. My dog was so excited cause there are rarely any puppies or dogs in my house, so she was kicking and kicking me to let go and put her on the ground. We think Tiger was pretty shy because he rarely moved, but he did move just to drink water and - P.U.! - poop on the rug. My cousin thought I pooped, since the poop was right in front of me, but I am potty trained. Tiger is not even trained one bit.
So I guess I'll inform you about regular or average life maybe at midnight if I am still awake, which it is obvious I won't, and I might do it tomorrow but I get lazy so it's a good chance I'll be informing you next month, year, century, or galaxy.
See you!

Robot Army
I put my bag on the kitchen counter after I came back from a short walk and called up my best friend, Mary. She just lived right across the road.
“Hi, Mary, could you come over now?” I asked her once she was on.
“Sure, coming right now!” She said, and hung up. In five seconds, we were in my room.
“Alex, I have big news!” She said frantically to me. She pulled something out of her purse.
“What is that?” I asked, peering closely at it. “Duh! It’s the new Jordan electronic!” I gasped. Jordan was an expensive brand of electronic toys for kids. “How ever did you afford it?” I asked in awe. She grinned.
“I won it in a raffle!” She exclaimed.
“Lucky!” I told her.
“You can keep it for now. It has a few minutes before it needs to be charged.” She tossed it into my big bag that lay on my bed.
“Thanks a lot, Mary!” I told her. Then we watched our favorite television series called ‘Spy’. Mary’s mom called her back home for dinner. “See you tomorrow, Mary!” I called to her. She waved back to me and trudged back home.
Tomorrow was the first day of school and I was excited to meet my new classmates. I wore my favorite silver and purple top with a black sweater and some blue jeans. Mary and I walked to school together. We were in the same class, and our teacher was Ms. Clarence. We peeked in our classroom and saw a bunch of girls we never met. Their names were Lara, Chanel, Rachel, Anna, and Maxine.
Our teacher smiled at us as we chose seats beside each other. Such a solid smile, I thought as Mary passed me a note. I opened it up and read it. ‘Why does everyone look so metallic and solid?’ It read. I looked at her and shrugged. They were metallic and solid, but they seemed friendly. But I didn’t know they weren’t friendly until the very next day.
The next morning I was determined to make new friends in my class. Mary might think they’re crazy, metallic, and solid, but that doesn’t mean crazy people can’t become friends with people who are not crazy. Mary and I walked into the classroom and I tried to talk with Anna about the Jordan brand.
“Hi, Anna!” I started. She looked at me as if I was crazy and continued chatting with a girl called Loraine. I glanced at Mary and gave her a ‘What gives?’ look. She shrugged at me and I turned away. When Ms. Clarence wasn’t looking, I passed a note to Chanel saying that Ms. Clarence looked like a robot. When it arrived at her table, she tore it into pieces and threw it in the trashcan. Mary raised an eyebrow at me and I ignored it.
I went home with Mary. She had invited me to a showing of how to use the new Jordan brand electronic. We watched it. At the end, we chatted about how cool the Jordan brand was then she lent it to me again for another two days. She only let me use it when she was around, though. But it’s better than nothing!
We arrived at school at about 7:00 am. So we were early. I asked Loraine what her address was, and to my surprise, she sneered at me!
“What’s it to you, steel head?” She glared at me.
I was so taken aback. Mary heard everything and came over to comfort me. She hugged me and said, “It’s okay, Alex, she’s just a fat buttocks.” She let me keep the Jordan electronic for three more days. Chanel heard everything and glared at us.
“Why do you have to be so stony?” She asked us, sneering. “You guys are just a bunch of spoiled brats.” She flipped her hair and I realized the whole class, including the teacher, had gathered behind us.
“We will now destroy you,” they chorused. And not a normal chorus. A robotic chorus. They were all speaking in a robotic voice and I was freaked out.
Then suddenly, Lara shot out her arm and a gun rose from her arm. She pressed a button that had just appeared on her forehead and a big ball of something hit Mary in the leg. She limped for a while. I peered at the ball and observed it. I licked it. I gasped when I realized what it was.
“Mary, it’s cookie dough!” I exclaimed.
“But it’s dangerous cookie dough.” Rachel said gravely. “If it stays on skin for more than ten seconds, it burns your skin!”
I began to pull of the cookie dough from Mary’s leg. Soon all of it was gone. Lara shook her arm for more.
“Empty.” She said. “No problem, though,” She said, as another shooter rose from her left arm.
Lara shot it at me, but I dodged just in time.
“That was a huge, acidic pea,” Lara explained. “If it hits you, you die!”
Those moments were dangerous for me. The robots on one side, and we were on the other side. But now Mary and I were right in the middle of a huge robot circle and all of them were pointing their acidic huge pea guns at us, and some of them held extra laser guns. Mary looked at me and poked me and mouthed the word ‘Jordan’. Then I remembered I still had my backpack and the Jordan electronic with me. I remembered that I could duplicate the electronic using my pencil. I carefully duplicated it and there were two Jordan electronics in my bag.
I remembered that there was this super mega ray gun that could slice through demons downloaded into the electronic. So I quietly passed one of the duplicated electronics to Mary. I whispered the words “One, two, three, GO!” After the word GO had left my lips, we started shooting the ray guns like crazy. Soon all that was left of the robots was a huge lump of coal. But right in the middle was a bigger robot. A robot I recognized as my own teacher, Ms. Clarence.
“I am a much harder robot to defeat than your classmates. No ordinary ray gun can kill me. You need the super mega ray gun.” She laughed evilly. Mary gave me a worried look. I laughed at Ms. Clarence’s silliness.
“Your so weird, Ms. Clarence,” I told her. “This is a super mega ray gun.” Then we shot her at the same time, and she turned into dust. Then suddenly the school burst into flames.
“Come here!” Mary called to me, coughing. I saw she was standing next to an open window. I hurriedly got my umbrella from the pot, and we jumped out. I opened my umbrella, and we drifted down to safety. That’s when I read the sign on the school. Robot Elementary! Did that mean everyone except Mary and me were not robots?!
I noticed Mary was glaring at me, and the centers of her eyes were red. She was going to shoot laser beams from her eyes at me!
“Mary, you’re a robot?” I said, as I shot her with the gun.
When I arrived at the ground, another Mary was waiting for me.
“What happened?” She asked, with a dazed look on her face.
“What happened to YOU?” I asked her.
“A robot took over my place and locked me in the Principal’s office when the fire started,” She explained. “The firemen rescued me before I was eliminated.”
We rushed to my house for a sleepover and snack.
“Girls, you’ve had a full day today,” Mom laughed after we told her the entire story of the robots. “You will now go to Pine Heights Elementary!” She told us.
“This is so awesome!” We exclaimed, and high fived. This was the best day of my life, if not ever.
“You guys stop that right this instant!” A voice exclaimed. We whirled around to meet the laser beam eyes of the second Mary. Her eyes glowed… and Mary… she turned into… ashes.
“Hi, Mary, could you come over now?” I asked her once she was on.
“Sure, coming right now!” She said, and hung up. In five seconds, we were in my room.

THE END
